video from upnp wont play

Hey all here is the skinny

EDIT- nothing will play music, photos or video

i can find my media thru sources/upnp, it shows all my media but nothing will play.

it goes to that thing that looks like the sun with spinning rays, they spin for awhile then it dumps me back to the list.

i have tried avi wmv mp4 mp3 jpg bmp with no luck.

it will not even play the vids that come with vista ( bear butterfly ect. )

any ideas?

vista machine and atv are bolth hard wired ( was thinking a time out issue so i went from wireless to the wired config)

Im no boxee expert, but possible things you could try.

1. get an xp box and try that
2. could be permissions on that share folder (set to everyone and allow full access)
3. upgrade to the newest version of boxee
4. possible firewall issue

just some things to try... again, probably not the issue, but worth a try.
