Has anyone else noticed this behavior?
Open GMail or similar in Chrome. Create application shortcuts. Right click and pin one of the shortcuts to your taskbar.
When you click the taskbar icon the application will open, but it opens in a separate taskbar icon. It does not stack.
Now, the kicker. From the opened app click a link that would launch another window. The new window stacks on the pinned icon. :)
I have several google chrome apps: gmail, calendar, reader, etc all pinned, but they're taking up 2x the space required because they don't stack when they're originally launched.
