www.deezer.com lets you basically play any music you want, and create your own playlist ... far more flexible than last.fm. :o

the thing about last.fm is they have an extremely liberal and open api... they really get oss. (their own player is oss.)

sites like pandora and the like may be better in some ways, but they just don't seem to get it.
