Not populating imdb info in subdirectories

For some reason Boxee isn't populating sub directories with video titles with screenshots and info.The main Video options DOES have this information from imdb populated, see below.

Settings/Media Sources/Network : Share is correctly labelled as source type: Video


However when I select the media source video, no screenshots are displayed, see below.

Running 10.5.4 on a macbook pro. Any ideas?:confused:

Hi.
The view that you see in boxee includes a mash of library mode and folder mode. the main video screen will show you all the videos that boxee could index (find metadata on) regardless to their location on disk.
however, it will also allow you quick access to your folder structure (e.g. "video").
when browsing the files (folder mode) you will not have the full metadata as shown in the top level's "library".

we are working on getting the navigation more intuitive and clear.

Just wanted to comment that this confused me as well, until I realized what it was doing. If i wasn't familiar with the xbmc library and filemode it would have really through me off.

On a side note.. I wish there was a separate viewing option for just TV shows. It takes a lot to go into filter and select TV to just look for that content(yeah i'm that lazy sometimes..). I believe this particular content type is so common that it warrants it.

Great to hear! When shall we be expecting a new release? My Mac Mini should be here soon, so i can really put boxee through it's paces..
