Just curious how everyone is doing on app downloads etc.
Some of these numbers will not be dated correctly. I didnt turn on stats till mid-last month. (oops)

watchuwant-1.1.zip - 258 downloads
movietrailers-1.2.zip - 226 downloads
fuzzthed.speedtest-2.1.zip - 143 downloads

AtomFilms-0.1.zip - 91 downloads
AtomFilms-2.0.zip - 71 downloads

Interesting to note here that my older version of atomfilms (which was just a basic rss app) has more downloads, so either people didn't feel the need to upgrade, don't know its out, or just didn't like the content enough to redownload the app.

I"ll be interested to see my stats if I get a higher number of return users when I start rolling out my Update Notice on all my apps.

blackjack-1.1.zip - 73 downloads

Kinda disappointed to see my blackjack game so low :( Haven't got much feed back so not sure if Boxee just isn't a good platform for it or maybe it's still to basic to 'sell.' I'll be interested in seeing my stats when I release some kind of online scoring. Might push more folks to grab it and be competetive

nascardotcom-1.0.zip - 50 downloads

Nobody likes nascar and I don't <3 nascar enough to work on this app unless it breaks.

Would love to see this for the official Boxee repo.

Here's my all-time download stats for my repo:

com.unboxeed.weather-0.2.7.zip 1,415 44.33%
com.unboxeed.weather-0.2.6.zip 443 13.88%
com.unboxeed.weather-0.1.zip 421 13.19%
com.unboxeed.weather-0.2.zip 359 11.25%
com.unboxeed.comicscom-0.1.2.zip 352 11.03%
com.unboxeed.comicscom-0.1.zip 8 0.25%

Those percentages won't add up to 100 because I cut some stuff out. :) These numbers would be hire no doubt if my apps were on the official repo. I've been told on occasion they'd like my apps on the boxee repo, but since they can't provide me with download stats if I let them I declined. I need stats! :D

I added your repository to my Boxee client and have added a couple of the items from there. Is there a difference to the downloaded apps? I'm a nOOb. I know. Just wondering if I'm missing out on something.

The greatest thing about Fuzz's repository is that it provides instant access to all repository sites out there for boxee. He consolidates all us 3rd party devs into one big repo. So instead of having to add like 10 repos to your boxee client, you just have to add his.

I have his added, but he is counting downloads of .zip files. I've not downloaded any .zip files nor have I done any installs ... am I missing something there? Could something be working better if I downloaded the .zip and installed it vs. adding it from the repository?

You are downloading zip files. All repository apps are zip archives which are processed by boxee. Boxee downloads the archive from a repository and extracts it to your app directory for use. This all happens behind the scenes.
