Something I tossed together as a proof of concept. Will probably make a skin.

What is it that you're trying to "click" ?

the script on there actually 'clicks' the 'click here to begin' button on there and doesn't require user interaction. Not sure why, but my other box just sits there.

Another update.
Ver 1.2
- Finally started learning some python and make a custom page that shows your previous results and statistics instead of trying to load the files from the site. (updated screenshot in post above
- You can check the global averages for uploads as well.
- Cleaned up some graphical errors i had.

One critique I have is the background shading of the black bars. You should extend the shading of the "SPEEDTEST.NET" image so that it extends 100% left and right. Just for continuity.

This app was written back in the alpha days, it's quite likely not at all compatible with the Boxee Box (assuming it's even signed).

Many people still use the software version :)


Also: my remotes dead, so i cant verify, but im pretty sure this was working on the bbox. I'll buy some batteries today and check it out.

Running latest Boxee version on win7 x64 machine, but have not been able to get it working. Get to "Begin Test" and it just sits there. I remeber using this last year sometime, left Boxee for awahile, and now that I am back tried using again.

If I had to guess, it's likely things have changed on the speedtest.net end and the app needs to be updated...
