Automatic scan of media and add it?

Boxee will not scan and add my media.
It have just added to movies in my local labery of movies, but not on my external drive.
It have just added 5albums of the 200+ a have in itunes.


and then a got the problem video that is blue, but that is the ATI problem?

indexing is run in the background and can take some time ..just leave it parked on the screen and it will then go through your library..

what ati card are you using?

A have a
Macbook pro 2gh
2gb ram
the card is a ATI RadeonX1600

a other thing is that it find was that Boxee finds some episodes of a tv show, but not all of the episodes.
If finds 4,5,7,9 but not the others, when that they came from the same source and the same types of file name.

The media scan does work on my system however for some strange reason there are movies that it did not pick up, placed TV shows under movies and assigned Diana Ross for one of my Nirvana albums? Which is kinda of funny. :)

are you id3 tags, folders, and file name in order? also, what happens when ou try 'wrong album' and 'wrong video'?

my nirvana shows up ok. which album did it get wrong, and which diana ross album did it think it was?

I have also noted that for some reason sometimes files are not being added as fast as I would like them to be. You have a new episode of Heroes but it does not show up under recently added so you have to browse via the sources view to get there. Sometimes movies/episodes pop up like in 1 minute somtimes it takes a day. Solution: quit Boxee or restart your whole Mac. Most of the times the episode will pop up. I must say this does not happen a lot so it's not a big deal.

Hi agentlame all the ID3 tags and all other relevant information is laid out properly the name of the of the album is Nirvana the The Very Best, it seems to think it is the Diana Ross The Very Best. All my other Nirvana lp's are fine as well as every other album that I have on my MacBook.

This is the software/web page that I have used for my whole music collection. It is simply put amazing if you do not have ID3 tags setup.

I also figured out what was going on with the TV episodes under movies, Boxee did not like the naming convention that I had used. I guess it is a little more temperamental than XMBC for the xbox??
