Hey All,
A friend of mine uses boxee on his Apple TV and tells me it works pretty well. I've currently got it set up on an older Linux box, and streaming Internet content (hulu, Joost, etc) will sometimes play choppy or cause the flashplayer to segfault. I'm pretty certain that the old P4 processor on my Linux box just can't handle the amount of data crunching necessary for flash streams. So I am thinking about either building a new box with dual core cpus or going with an Apple TV.
Can anyone in this forum tell me if they are using boxee on Apple TV and how well it works for Internet Streaming? What kind of CPUs do the new 160GB Apple TVs use? I cannot find this information in any tech specs.
Thanks!
Thanks!
