Just downloaded the alpha. Very very nice. I love the mkv support. Couple of things to note, and I'm not sure they fall into the bugs category, so I'm adding the post under general.. feel free to move it.
1) Remote navigation seems sluggish, even w/ a higher response time than the default 500ms. perhaps there is a setting I missed.
2) In FrontRow, image files named Preview.jpg are used as movie art in the movie list. This is not the default behavior of boxee (again, I may be missing something here). I have hundreds of movies w/ corresponding Preview.jpg files... it would be a shame if I could no longer use those for the art.
3) Is there a setting so that folders containing VIDEO_TS subfolders are played like a dvd? As far as I can tell, i have to drill down past the parent folder and select the VIDEO_TS folder in order to play ripped DVDs. FrontRow just plays them like a dvd.
4) When can we expect the ability to tweak the UI for color, layout, etc. I know there are some features already implemented, so just curious if there is anything going on on this front.
overall, this is going to be a front row/center stage killer. well done so far!
