Yep put together a Nasa app with the podcasts and the videos they have available and also a Nasa Live feed. (It is in real player so let me know how it works out on all the platforms.)
Let me know if you have any comments, suggestions and/or concerns below.
Thanks.

Cool stuff, although, I think you are running into the same problem I was on the live feeds. Yours (as well as my feed) don't seem to play the live stream at all. (AppleTV platform)
Here's what I was working on:

Yeah I figured it would cause issues since it was launching the real player. I tried the other options and none worked.

I know there is currently a problem with asf/wmv streams. I hope that will be resolved in the next release (they play fine in XBMC). I really think the flash link would work great, but I never was able to get boxee to click the 'play' button correctly. Maybe someone smarter than me could do that.

I like!
The HD feeds are full of too much awesome for my puny AMD 2800+ so the video is kind of choppy on those but I will be upgrading my HTPC soon anyway.
A couple of things that don't work (this is on Mythbuntu 9.04):
Live NASA TV. It just goes to a black screen and boxee counts time but I get nothing. There are no errors logged.
NASACast: This Week @ NASA. The September 11 episode errors out and dumps me back at the selection screen. Other episodes seem to work.
The errors int he log are:
ERROR: ffmpeg: [mov,mp4,m4a,3gp,3g2,mj2] moov atom not found
ERROR: Open - Error, could not open file http://www.nasa.gov/386191main_TWAN_09_11_09.m4v
ERROR: OpenDemuxStream - Error creating demuxer
Other than that things seem to work pretty well. Thanks!

Looks like the live feed will only work in windows and only then maybe only when real player is installed.
I am not sure what is different with that video then the others I will check here when I have time. Right now I need to study for a test I have tomorrow.
Thanks for the feedback.

Thanks to liquid the RSS has been updated and looks alot cleaner now. He also added the standard definition videos to help streaming work better. I will work on a skin version as soon as I have time. Happy new year and thanks liquid 64.
