Shoutcast radio hangs on some stations

when trying to play some shoutcast stations like 1.FM Chillout lounge i get the progress indicator at which point it hangs. i can't back out or take any other actions other than pulling the plug on my Apple TV. i'm able to replicate this issue.

is it just that specific station or others which are crashing boxee..i noticed there are 4 or 5 1.FM Chillout lounge are they all causing problems?

I tried this today for the first time on my Linux distro on Ubuntu 8.10. Shoutcast failed all 3 times... Resulting in COMPLETE CRASH of BOXEE.

Tried 3 different stations, the first one CHIRPED like it was going to go then BOOM down it went.

Same issue here, have to force quit boxee and restart.

Well I guess I'll have to bring this one back from the dead. I don't think this is just Shoutcast. After doing alot of searching I've come across people on all platforms having problems with streaming radio crashing in general. Most of the stuff I read was problems on linux, but I have the same problem on ATV.

So far 4 of the shoutcast stations have forced me to hard reboot my ATV. Will update if I find more streaming radio stations/channels that have crashed on my system.

Anyword on a fix for this yet?

Shoutcast is just broken.

Marcel has asked for debug logs in the past, lets hope it's getting fixed
