Boxee Remote with iPhone

Just a quick note to users

If you have a Jailbroken iPhone/iPod Download Backgrounder via Cydia or Icy

This app allows you to run any app in the background to save waiting to reload it from the springboard.

in otherwords it will save you from waiting for boxee app finding its host.

To use this. Download Backgrounder and Enable it.
When running Boxee Remote hold the HOME button and a notice will show up saying its Backgrounder Enabled.

This will help you lock your phone to save battery.

Then unlock your phone/ipod and then click the Boxee Remote App and it will open instantly

Even with the remote backgrounded, this app seems to use too much battery.

Can we expect some optimization in the future ?

yeah this will use MORE battery, cos it means even while your phone is locked, its still running the remote app.

you may as well leave it running!

could always have it charging. i have my iphone on charge when using the remote anyway
