Hello,
I want to learn how to add a live flash stream to an app so that when someone clicks on the app button the video initiates immediately. How do I go about doing something like this? I read the rss tutorial in the developer section where it mentions the flash:// protocol briefly and have encoded my URL as directed. I understand how to edit sources.xml to create the app button and show the app in Boxee. If I just want to play the one *.swf (i.e. the stream) can I do this all in descriptor.xml (if so can you provide an example) or do a need to make a blank skin with main.xml that just loads the swf (if so can you provide an example).
