I'm trying to add my collection of Family Guy episodes to my library and it isn't picking up the right meta data.
Wherever Boxee is getting the data from is wrong! I've tried it many times and it thinks there are only 13 episodes in season 4 and then picks up with the rest of the episodes in season 5. There are in fact 27 episodes, as well as an extra feature, in season 4. This effectively throws off the rest of my library.

I have deleted my library 4 times in hopes of it correcting itself and tried every other fix but have come down to the fact that where ever Boxee is getting it's information is just plain wrong. All sites that I checked agree. There are 27 episodes in season 4.

Thanks for any help that can be provided.

thetvdb.com (TV), imdb.com (Movies), last.fm (Music)...

have you tried using the 'wrong video' option to correct the mis-taggings?
also, what is your file naming logic?

I tried the "wrong video" option and it didn't work either. The problem lies in the fact that the data coming from wherever it gets it is wrong. It's a really weird problem.
Season 4 is missing episodes 14 through 17 in Boxee but then has the 18th episode. Boxee then titles the episodes in season 5 with the name and synopsis as if they were the 14th through 17th episodes in season 4, yet they're the wrong video.
If I play season 5 episode 1 it plays the right video and the meta data says that it's season 5 episode 1 but it gives me the episode synopsis and title of season 4 episode 14. Doing the math you can see how everything from there gets fubarred.
My naming conventions for season 5 episode 1 would be:

S05E01 - Mother Tucker.avi

This is also in a Season 5 folder that resides in a Family Guy parent directory.

Simple explanation: Truth = Season 5 Episode 1 is "Mother Tucker":D
Boxee = Season 5 Episode 1 is "PTV":(
"PTV" is really Season 4 Episode 14:confused:
