When will the New Version come? Please!

When will the new version come?

Please release one soon with:
-nice GUI finishing touches
-SPEED!
-and a nice background image!.
-and new <internet videos> options
-and <save to favourites> option.

what part of the ui needs 'touching'?

without being mean, things like 'nice' are subjective... i like the current background.

speed is also subjective... what about boxee is too slow?

what <internet video> options would you like to see?

internet favorites would make me pretty happy. It takes a while to get to where you want to be, and I really only have 5 that I want to see most of the time.

Also, if there were a way to browse large categories easier (e.g., using some kind of alphabet jump? or large page down feature?).

i have mapped chanup/chandown to pageup/pagedown in my remote, like so:

lircmap.xml:


<pageplus>CH+</pageplus>
<pageminus>CH-</pageminus>


this works great foe navigating long lists.
