I want to start off by saying that Boxee is great and it's clear that its going to be my primary media interface on my apple TV. However, I do have a few comments on things that could be improved:

I find myself getting into the View/Sort right-side menu by accident a lot. That is a menu which I only need to use on rare occasions, so there's no reason for it to be so accessible. A long press on the menu button would be a better way to bring up this sort of a menu.

The remote has a combined Play/Pause button. It would be nice if the GUI would toggle between play and pause. As it is, I couldn't find any way to pause while playing music. Pressing Play/Pause would only restart the track.

I could bring up the video settings window (interlacing, etc) while watching a video, but I didn't see it in the main settings/video window. That only had an option for subtitles.

The number one feature I would ask for is for boxee to keep track of watched/unwatched videos like Sapphire does.

Even ATVfiles does that.

Pretty annoying while watching TV series, I always forget which one was the last one I watched.
