Curious if the advancesettings.xml file will work on ATV? Especially the ability to skip ahead more. Right now I find it very slow to advance and I wanted to up the jump.

Of course, I am going to try it...just curious if anyone knew.

Also, I seemed to remember a checkbox in Boxee that states to remember where you left off on a video. Doesn't seem to work, but then again my memory could be way off on that feature.

in advancedsettings.xml i have adjusted the following options:


<video>
<timeseekforward>29</timeseekforward> <!-- Time to seek forward in seconds when doing a short seek. Defaults to 30. -->
<timeseekbackward>-7</timeseekbackward> <!-- Time to seek backward in seconds when doing a short seek. Defaults to -30. -->
</video>

the settings are measured in seconds. these settings reflect the 'skip' command.

also, the option to remember the a given video's last position is not available in the current build. it was not function correctly in the last one, so that may be why it was removed.
