Game controller as remote?

i have been thinking about using a game controller (acutely a ps2 remote with a usb converter) is there any way of pulling that off with only boxee or do i have to use a separate program like joy2key or something like that?

I have been using a program to remap my playstation controller to work with Boxee and it's called xPadder (http://www.softpedia.com/get/System/System-Miscellaneous/Xpadder.shtml). I know it's not exactly what you were asking for, but I hope it helps!
