Adding TV Shows, specifically Family Guy avi's, I have a few issues.
1. When adding and having Boxee query for episode information it takes several tries, at one point 7 tries to get it to actually download the series information. Eventually it will come up with "Family Guy (en)".
2. For season three it's actually downloading the French artwork for the season
3. I am getting duplicates whenever I have Boxee re-recognize an episode or series. It doesn't replace the information, it just re-adds it to the database and that will lead to many duplicates in the TV Shows view.
4. The "Remove" link does not work. I try to remove the duplicates but they remain.

Not sure there's a solution to any of this but I wanted to just point out some bugs I was having.

Lastly, is Boxee supposed to recognize Real Media video files? When I try to add them it tries to add them as audio, and I checked to make sure it was added as a video source.

I think that about does it for now. Great program with a lot of potential but I figured I would give some bug reports so you guys are aware of them. After all, that's what alpha testing is for.

thanks for the report..

we are always improving the way we try and index the content and naming is a big issue at the moment .

check out these threads

we are aware of the duplication and have added this in the bug report you can try and erase the library (settings>general>erase library) and try and index it again..

I've tried rebuilding my library 4 times now with different naming schemes and different strategies but to no avail. It now looks like one of the big problems is that wherever Boxee is getting the meta data from is just wrong.
Season 4 of Family Guy has 27 episodes and Boxee is splitting it down the middle and throwing the second half of the season as the starting point for season 5 and then messing up the meta data for the rest of the show.
I have checked thetvdb, imdb, as well as many other sites and they all say that Family Guy has 27 episodes in the 4th season.
The naming is definitely correct on all of my episodes so it appears that the site Boxee is scraping for meta data is just plain wrong.

Any ideas?

This is a little weird. When I "Wrong Video" Sherlock Holmes to Sherlock Holmes (1984) the old entries get removed. But when I do the same to Doctor Who, to make it Doctor Who (2005), the old, incorrect, entries remain.

I have exactly the same problem with Doctor Who vs Doctor Who (2005). I have two folders labelled as 'Doctor Who' and 'Doctor Who 2005' - within those I have the seasons broken down into episodes. On the first run, it always identifies the 2005+ seasons as original season episodes - when I tell Boxee it's the wrong show and update it - it seems to transfer it to the new series, but will not remove the original entry. I've tried renaming/removing and wiping and starting again but it still doesn't seem to work. Also, I can figure out how to identify the Christmas Specials. On the website that Boxee draws it's episode information from it's listed as Season: Special and Episode: 7 (for the Voyage of the Damned for example). But I can't get Boxee to recognise it in any variation..
