If boxee hangs when stoping/pausing with repeating sound loop

Happened to me, using a core 2 duo, nvidia 9500GT with 177.80 drivers and ubuntu intrepid ibex beta using hdmi out with sound from spdif from a gigabyte mobo. (intel ICH9 audio chip).

Here is the solution: Kill pulseaudio demon before starting boxee (a killall pulseaudio is enough).

I though it might be of use for someone else :)

thanks for the tip...

pulseaudio is the cause of so many bugs, in so many apps. it broke mythTV for the longest time. :(
