From what I can tell, the Hulu streams are the 360p quality videos. Is there a way to make it default to the 480p stream?

I have my profile on hulu set to automatically select 480 when it's available, so maybe we just need a way to log into your hulu account, just like youtube and the other online video sources?

Thanks in advance for your help!

I was thinking the same thing about Revision3. They have HD streams, but it seems like Boxee is picking up the standard ones.

i cant get my hulu to go past the first advert. It says who the program is brought to me by and then just gives me a blank screen. It looks like the video is playing but with no picture or sound.

Is something coming down the pipe...

So I was noticing while watching a video on hulu.com that I can select the 480p "hi-res" stream. Looks great. Does hulu on boxee pick up the hi-res stream by default? Or does it use the standard one?

Just wondering at this point. If it's not default to 480p "hi-res" it wouldn't IMO have to be setup this way. If I could switch over to the "hi-res" stream or even be prompted when the video starts that would be as good.

I basically found my answer. I should have thought to search on HD streams from HULU. Now I know that mac based gets hd by default and that ATV can't... For now. Sweet will be the day when ATV gets the hi-res / HD streams from HuLU.

ok... normally i would just ban you and block your ip, but your question seems really legit.

i removed your signature... next time you're banned.

(btw, yes you need to login to hulu from boxee for it to use your 480p settings.)

The YouTube "login" option is misleading, it just lets you browse a particular user's videos and favorites. You can put any username there, it never asks for a password.

You have to login into your hulu account. Then go in Profile>Privacy and Settings. In personal settings, select YES for "Automatically default video playback to the 1 Mbp, 480p stream."
It should be OK then.

He apparently doesn't learn and went back 3 days later and added it again to his post. User has been banned for 6 months.
