I'm trying out boxee on my "VIA PC3500G" with linux video drivers installed, but it wont start boxee up.

Why is this? No support for VIA yet?

Will i need to add a nvidia/ati card in the pcie slot? (Dont wanna do this becuse it defeats the object of a low wattage pc)

Thanks for any help!

I am a huge fan of the low power consumption PC. Have you tried XBMC on your system? If that runs, there's no reason Boxee shouldn't work.

Hey guys. Just ran across Boxee and signed up for an alpha account. I am one of the developers that works on the openchrome project. We are working on a revamp of the drivers now and hope to support lots of new features on the new chipsets. I have a long queue until my Boxee account is processed, but when I get access I will make sure it runs seamless on my test machine.

@linux4kix -- I suggest you add XBMC to your list.....once it works there, it will work at Boxee. Thx.

Thanks for the heads up. We will see what we can get working in the next couple of weeks.
