Hello,
I have couple of movies on samba share.
When I add them using "Network Sources" , boxee do not scan for artwork
When I add them using "Local Sources" - boxee do scan

cheers,
Kuba

yeap it's weird
i can access the files with OSX without any issue.
Please note that they are the same files on same samba share.

I believe that when I click on network source then the Boxee library is used to map/connect to samba share, when i click on local source i choose it from /Volumes/share so it was connected by OSX before.

Regards,
Kuba

yes. you are right with your assumption. however, boxee should scan those sources even if not mounted by the os.
when you add a network source boxee automatically starts scanning it. however we did get a few reports that the new share is only getting scanned the next time you run boxee.
so please try adding the smb share and restarting boxee.
we are working to get this issue resolved.

thanks.
