View Full Version : Pandora crashing boxee

Downloaded the latest version last night and since then, Pandora seems to be crashing boxee. I usually keep it running on my mac mini and I never have any problems, but now, I have noticed that after about 15 songs or so boxee would have abnormally exited.

Anyone else seeing this problem?

Any tips on troubleshooting/resolution?

please change the visualization (Settings>Music ) from Project M to another option and see if this helps...

Thanks Marcel! I changed my visualization to Waveform and have not experienced the problem since.

Too bad. ProjectM is an awesome visualizer when it's working. Hope this gets worked out eventually.

Thanks, I was having that same problem.

In addition to that one however, I noticed that in some instances you cannot get back to the main pandora interface. If you let pandora for a while, the main interface disappears and if you hit escape or the menu button on the apple remote it comes back. Now if you go back further to the main boxee menu, you can keep hitting that button until you get back to pandora, but the interface to rate songs is not accessible. If you try to restart pandora through boxee, it crashes.

I would appreciate being able to browse boxee while music is playing and jump back into the pandora app if at all possible. Does anyone happen to have a way to manage this?

I think that was it. Been steady since I changed the visualization almost accidentally :-)

Marcel,

I'm testing your suggestion of changing the visualization. Thanks for posting. I had looked at the logs after the pandora crashes and didn't see anything. Was there anything on the apple tv to indicate a visualization was the issue? Any other logs to check next time? I'd like to know how you figured it out.
